Its Nightshade architecture continues to deliver scalable throughput, while #NEAR Intents removes much of the friction users face when interacting across multiple blockchains. Recent reports indicate millions of users and billions in cross-chain volume have already flowed through the Intents ecosystem.
What makes NEAR particularly interesting is its bet that future blockchain users may not be humans alone—but autonomous AI agents. The protocol is positioning itself as infrastructure where AI can own wallets, execute transactions, and interact across chains seamlessly. This creates a long-term narrative that few Layer-1 competitors are pursuing as aggressively.
