Michael Saylor Kicks Off 2026 With Another Major Bitcoin Buy 🚀

The year has just begun, and Michael Saylor is already making headlines. In early January 2026, Strategy added more Bitcoin to its balance sheet, reinforcing its long-term $BTC conviction.

According to a recent regulatory filing, the company purchased over 1,200 BTC between January 1–4 for approximately $116 million, at an average price of ~$90,400 per BTC. The acquisition was funded through at-the-market MSTR share sales, a strategy Strategy has consistently used to increase its Bitcoin exposure.

With this latest buy, Strategy’s total holdings have reached 673,783 BTC, valued at roughly $63 billion at current prices. The company’s average acquisition cost now sits near $75,000 per BTC, giving it control of more than 3% of Bitcoin’s fixed 21 million supply.

Bitcoin Price Outlook 📊

Saylor’s continued accumulation highlights growing institutional confidence in Bitcoin. The key question now: Is this steady buying pressure enough to fuel the next leg higher, or will BTC consolidate before its next major move?
