Users or applications can reveal only the information necessary to prove that something is valid, while keeping the rest of the data private. This is made possible through zero-knowledge proofs, a technology that allows data to be verified without exposing the underlying details.
Midnight also uses two assets within its network. $NIGHT is the main token of the system and is used for governance, staking, and rewarding participants who help secure the network. In addition, there is DUST, a network resource used to pay transaction fees.
