Former President Donald Trump has announced a new large-scale monument project for the U.S. capital — a 250-foot-tall triumphal arch planned for the area between the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery.
The design features:
A golden winged Lady Liberty-style statue
Massive gold eagles and lion sculptures
The inscription “One Nation Under God”
Architecture inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris
