ZachXBT alleged that U.S. threat actor Dritan Kapllani Jr. was involved in about $19 million in social engineering thefts and money laundering targeting crypto users. ZachXBT linked an ETH address and an Exodus wallet shown on a Discord call to a March 14, 2026 theft of 185 BTC, or about $13 million. On May 11, the U.S. Department of Justice unsealed an indictment against Trenton Johnson over the 185 BTC theft, and the filing's "Co-Conspirator 1" is believed to be Dritan, who has not been formally charged.
