Iran will lodge an official complaint to FIFA over visa-related travel restrictions that require the team to enter the United States only one day before matches and leave the same day, according to Yahoo Sports. Iran coach Amir Ghalenoei called his side the "most oppressed" team after a 2-2 draw with New Zealand in Los Angeles, while the Football Federation of Iran said the limits are inconsistent with equal conditions and could harm preparation; it added that a request to arrive two days early for the 21 June match against Belgium in Los Angeles was denied, and Iran also play Egypt in Seattle on 27 June.
