La corsa agli armamenti dell'IA degli imperatori della tecnologia è appena iniziata

Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Sam Altman e Jeff Bezos si stanno sfidando in una gara senza precedenti per l'espansione delle loro infrastrutture di IA. I costi raggiungeranno le trilioni - e lo sviluppo che renderà gli oligarchi della tecnologia gli uomini più potenti del mondo.

Inesorabilmente, oltre 100 escavatori, camion e gru si fanno strada attraverso il rosso terreno argilloso texano. Migliaia di operai edili in colorate giacche di sicurezza si muovono freneticamente tra pezzi di cemento, tubi, generatori e cavi. Nel bel mezzo del nulla, ai margini della piccola città di Abilene, a circa due ore di auto a ovest di Fort Worth, non si trova un qualsiasi cantiere. Qui si trova uno dei più grandi campi di battaglia nella lotta per il dominio globale dell'IA. Tutti gli escavatori e gli operai edili sono stati chiamati nella desolazione da uno dei più importanti titani della tecnologia al mondo: Sam Altman. Le sue truppe stanno costruendo per lui otto enormi complessi bianchi, ciascuno alto circa dieci metri, su un'area più grande del Central Park di New York: il centro dati Stargate della sua azienda di IA OpenAI.

Altman prevede di collegare 400.000 chip di IA ad Abilene, il più grande cluster di processori grafici (GPU) del mondo. 1,2 gigawatt di energia elettrica il supercomputer dovrebbe consumare al termine, a metà 2026 - tanto quanto una città con oltre tre milioni di famiglie. Con Stargate, Altman intende conquistare il predominio nello sviluppo dell'intelligenza artificiale - forse la tecnologia del futuro più importante mai inventata dall'umanità. 🪾 Indice COAI & Vendita di Token AI: Luci di Allerta Accese

L'indice COAI è crollato del 54% dall'inizio del 2025, segnalando un forte crollo nel settore delle criptovalute AI.

Questa caduta è guidata da una svendita a livello settoriale di token crittografici basati su AI, non solo COAI stesso.

Un fattore chiave: C3.ai (una grande impresa AI) sta attraversando turbolenze nella leadership, registrando una perdita di 116,8 milioni di dollari nel primo trimestre e affrontando una causa collettiva — questo ha spaventato gli investitori in tutti i progetti di criptovalute AI.

Inoltre, il Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (Legge CLARITY) ha creato incertezze normative. Le sue regole vaghe lasciano i progetti di criptovalute AI come COAI in una zona grigia legale, aumentando la volatilità.

I rischi tecnici stanno emergendo: secondo Bitget, il “Protocollo di Contesto del Modello” ha visto un aumento del 270% nelle vulnerabilità nel terzo trimestre del 2025, mentre le configurazioni errate nei sistemi AI sono aumentate del 67%.

La governance sembra altamente centralizzata — i primi 10 portafogli controllano reportedly l'87,9% dell'offerta di COAI, sollevando timori di svendite coordinate guidate da balene.

Il token COAI stesso è crollato drasticamente — Bitget riporta una caduta del 96% del suo valore, che molti vedono come un campanello d'allarme per la sostenibilità a lungo termine di AI-DeFi.

Il crollo di COAI non riguarda solo il calo dell'hype — sta rivelando problemi strutturali: scarsa decentralizzazione, debole pianificazione normativa e tecnologia AI-crypto immatura. Per la DeFi guidata da AI per sopravvivere, i progetti hanno bisogno di casi d'uso nel mondo reale, governance trasparente e prontezza normativa.
