Everyone keeps warning about
$SUI — but few actually explain why.
The main concern is tokenomics.
A large portion of SUI tokens were allocated to early investors and VCs, and these tokens unlock over time. When big unlocks happen, early holders may sell for profit, which can create strong selling pressure in the market.
That’s why traders often stay cautious around unlock periods.
Another reason is supply inflation. As more tokens enter circulation, it becomes harder for the price to move aggressively upward unless demand increases at the same pace.
But this doesn’t mean
$SUI is a bad project.
The technology behind it is strong, the network is fast, and the ecosystem is still growing. Like many Layer-1 projects, the real test will be adoption and long-term development.
In crypto, understanding tokenomics is just as important as understanding the technology.
