okay so here is what whitepaper actully say. a brand can provide a product came fro a certifi factly with out reval. which factly and what the product cost was. a custom authority can verify. a simple shipment's compliance with out seeing the full logistics chain behind it. the ZK proof does the verification. the sensitive data never leaves the company. those two things happen simultaneously. i did not think that was possible until i read it.
luxury goods. pharmaceuticals. food safety. i kept thinking of more industries while reading. every one of them has the same problem the pharmaceutical company had in that case study. authenticity matters. supply chain data is a trade secret. pick one. Midnight is saying you do not have to.
i checked the NIGHT leaderboard before writing this. this angle has not appeared once. everyone is covering DUST and mainnet.
the part i can not shake though. IBM Food Trust tried this. Maersk TradeLens tried this. both had serious money behind them. both got shut down. not becuse any this technolog failed. becase geting competing companies to are agree on share stand and keep agreeing through budget cycles is a different kind of a hard. the technolog problem Midnight solveing in real. the coordination problem undr neath it is still there and i do not have good answer for that i seen my anylish.
And one my thing i am watch. a supply chain or loggistics company joining the Midnight Alliance or announcing any kind in 2026.
