That is one reason Midnight keeps my attention.
What stands out to me is not just that mainnet is getting closer. It is the work happening underneath that moment. When I see a project putting real effort into developer prep, contribution paths, and builder readiness before the network even goes live, it changes how I look at it.
To me, that says more than launch hype ever can.
A date can create noise for a few days. But the real test starts after that. The projects that last are usually the ones that make it easier for builders to learn, contribute, and stay involved before the spotlight arrives.
That is the part of Midnight that feels more serious to me right now.
