Open Ledger Balance in Binance refers to the amount of funds that are temporarily reserved or in transit. These are transactions that have been initiated but not yet completed or confirmed.

This balance appears in three main scenarios:

When you've placed a buy or sell order that hasn't been fully executed yet

During cryptocurrency withdrawal requests that are still processing

In margin or futures trading when positions are open

It's important to note that Open Ledger Balance is not lost money. The funds are simply unavailable for other transactions until the process completes. Once the order is filled, canceled, or the withdrawal is confirmed, this balance automatically moves back to your Available Balance.

If your Open Ledger shows a large amount for several days, it's usually best to check your open orders or contact Binance Support. Most such entries clear within 24 to 48 hours.
