I want to share a critical security warning with the community based on a real situation that happened to me just now.

I received a very convincing email claiming to be from Blockchain.com. The email stated that there was a login attempt from the "Russian Federation" 🇷🇺 and asked me to click a button to "Authorize" or "Deny" the request.

At first glance, it looked legitimate. However, my technical background saved me. Here are the Red Flags I noticed:

1️⃣ The "Authorization" Trap: Real security systems block suspicious logins automatically. They never ask you to click a link to "cancel" a hack.
2️⃣ The Goal: If I had clicked the link, it would have redirected me to a fake page asking for my 12-word Recovery Phrase.
3️⃣ Fear Tactics: The email used urgent language about "moving funds" to make me panic.

🛡️ How to Stay Safe:

  • NEVER click links in security emails. Always open the official app or website directly.

  • NEVER share your Seed Phrase (12 words) with anyone or any website, no matter how "official" it looks.

  • Always enable 2FA (Google Authenticator).

Stay sharp and keep your assets SAFU! 🔒
