At first, I thought long-term value for $OPG would mostly come from people holding the token. But the activity doesn't really match that idea.
The more I watched, the more it looked like a loop instead of a simple investment thesis.
Almost like it goes:
Network activity → more participation → stronger utility → more reasons to stay active.
That feels different because the value doesn't seem to come from waiting. I think it comes from people actually using the network, then creating conditions for the next wave of activity. Each interaction leaves something behind for the next participant.
This only works if new activity consistently absorbs what the system produces. Once extraction starts growing faster than participation, the loop probably changes.
As markets rotate between AI, memes, and infrastructure, I keep wondering whether sustained network activity eventually matters more than whichever narrative is attracting attention this month.
I'm still trying to figure out whether network activity is the real driver here or just a temporary signal that looks convincing during growth. They can appear almost identical for a while.
Maybe I'm wrong, but the difference probably only shows up when the pace slows down. It feels stable today... I'm just not sure whether the same loop holds under real pressure or if that's where the assumptions start to break.#opg $OPG @OpenGradient
