Binance withdrew its MiCA license application in Greece and suspended some services and new EU registrations just days before the July 1 deadline. Gillian Lynch said MiCA’s success should be measured by how many crypto companies enter the regulatory framework. Lynch defended Binance’s financial crime control measures and rejected allegations in a recent Wall Street Journal report. Lynch said excluding Binance from MiCA would harm the European crypto market by removing key liquidity and infrastructure.
