I’ve been around the Alpha market long enough to know one thing: sometimes the chart doesn’t break because the idea is bad. It breaks because the structure underneath is too fragile.
That’s how I still see $BR
When attention moved from names like Koge and ZKJ toward BR, I also felt the shift. BR had real community energy behind it. For a while, it looked like one of those quiet dark horses people didn’t want to miss.
But last June’s liquidity shock was a hard reminder. When a few big LP holders can leave at the same time and shake the whole market within minutes, the problem is no longer just price action. It becomes a structural issue.
To be fair, @Bedrock did try to think long term. The team and investor unlock schedule was not aggressive, and the veBR model made sense for reducing short-term selling pressure.
But here’s the part I can’t ignore: locking governance participants is not the same as protecting liquidity.
veBR can guide loyal users, but it cannot stop concentrated LP exits. That means the staking layer may look mature, while the liquidity layer still carries the real risk.
I respect the later response from the team, including transparency and support. But ideally, a project should not need emergency repair after damage is done.
I still believe BTCFi has room to grow, and BR has ideas worth watching. But for me, the real test is clear now: can the mechanism protect the market before panic starts?
Because strong Web3 projects should not survive only through rescue plans. They should be built to absorb pressure from the beginning.

Most liquid staking and restaking narratives have been heavily tied to Ethereum, but Bedrock is trying to bring Bitcoin, Ethereum, and even DePIN-related rewards into the same liquidity framework. That’s interesting because capital efficiency is becoming one of the biggest battlegrounds in crypto. Users increasingly want yield without locking assets away for months.
What stands out to me is the utility angle rather than the APY angle. If Bedrock can keep liquidity flowing while distributing rewards across multiple ecosystems, it could attract users who normally avoid complex restaking strategies.
