If consensus is split, the system can mark the claim as non-executable and force escalation instead of quietly passing it through.

Structural risks: how SLAs get distorted in the real world
Verification as an SLA creates a strong product frame, but it also creates sharp failure modes.
One risk is cartelization. If a large share of verification stake ends up running the same model family or the same hosting stack, consensus starts to reflect correlation rather than independent judgment. The break condition is simple: if independence collapses, the SLA turns into a crowd that thinks the same way, and the network becomes a centralized verifier in disguise.

I think AI markets will split into two lanes.
One lane is content. Fast, cheap, unverified output that is good enough for brainstorming, drafts, and low-stakes work.
The other lane is execution. Output that triggers decisions and actions, where the system has to prove something about reliability. That lane cannot rely on vibes. It needs verification requirements, audit artifacts, and rules for what happens when the system is uncertain.
