While BTC and ETH struggle to break higher, XRP's bullish momentum is turning heads across the crypto market.

The broader cryptocurrency market is flashing renewed optimism this week, with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP) all recording solid weekly gains. The rally comes on the back of improving global risk sentiment, fueled largely by diplomatic progress in the Middle East and growing hopes of a lasting US-Iran ceasefire agreement.

Bitcoin has posted an impressive 5% weekly gain, yet the world's largest cryptocurrency is now running into a wall. The remittance-focused token surged over 7% this week and has successfully closed above its critical 50-day EMA at $1.40 — a technically significant milestone that suggests buyers are firmly in control. Analysts note that sustained momentum above this level could push XRP toward the $1.54–$1.69 resistance band in the sessions ahead.

Adding further credibility to XRP's bullish case, institutional money continues to flow in. XRP spot ETFs recorded $11.87 million in single-day inflows, with total cumulative inflows now reaching $1.26 billion — a sign that professional investors are increasingly betting on Ripple's long-term potential.

As the weekend approaches, market participants will be closely monitoring BTC and ETH for any breakout signals. XRP, for now, remains the market's frontrunner — and with macro tailwinds in play, the broader altcoin market could be preparing for its next leg up.
