I bought it, opened the chest, checked again, still nothing. Same space. Same chest. I was just sitting there like okay cool so what the hell did I just pay for. Then I find out I have to empty the whole thing, pick it up, and place it again before the upgrade actually shows up.
Like why.
I already bought the upgrade. The chest is already mine. It’s already on my land. Why am I doing this dumb little reset chore like I’m fixing some broken object in my house. It’s such a pain in the ass for no reason. Not challenging. Not interesting. Just wasted time.

And anyway the marketplace does the same annoying stuff. You cancel your own listing and if your bag doesn’t have enough room it doesn’t just give your item back, it gives you whatever fits and leaves the rest there until you go clean out slots and come back. So now I’m doing bag chores just to take back something that already belongs to me. Idk why this has to be this annoying.
Mailbox too. That stupid Collect All thing pops up, I click it, and then nope, bag full, try again later. So the reward is there, the button is there, I clicked the button, and the game still blocks it because apparently I didn’t do enough inventory housekeeping first. Ugh.
Honestly, it’s just exhausting. It’s like I’m constantly being teased with progress that isn’t actually there yet. Upgrade, but not really. Get my item back, but not really. Collect reward, but not really. Every time I think I’m done the game throws one more dumb slot check in my face and makes me go move stuff around.

So now I’m checking my bag before I do basically anything because I don’t trust the game anymore, and that’s just stupid. I should not have to stop and play backpack janitor every five minutes because Pixels loves turning simple actions into extra chores.
That chest thing really set me off because it’s such a small stupid moment but it tells you everything. I upgrade a chest and instead of getting the upgrade I’m emptying furniture and placing it again like some janky workaround players are just supposed to accept. Same with everything else. Nothing just lands. Nothing just finishes. It’s always one more annoying step, one more bag issue, one more pointless cleanup job.
I’m so tired of doing chores after I already did the thing.
