Walrus Mainnet launched on March 27, 2025. At launch, the network began using the real $WAL token (before this, only testnet WAL existed, which was unlimited and valueless). The Walrus team stated that $WAL powers all storage fees and staking on Mainnet. #walrus @Walrus 🦭/acc $WAL
