Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 19, allowing cryptobanks to combine digital tokens with traditional banking services. These banks, registered in the High-Tech Park, can now offer faster, blockchain-based financial services under regulatory oversight.
Lukashenko also encouraged crypto mining, citing Belarus’s surplus electricity and global demand, and plans to launch a digital ruble in late 2026.
Belarus joins other countries, like Russia, in embracing digital assets. Despite recent restrictions on some crypto exchanges, th#e law aims to attract investment and advance the nation’s financial technology sector.#WriteToEarnUpgrade $XRP
