Every project has a culture. During the build phase, #dusk 's culture was defined by its technical team and its waiting community. It was a culture of anticipation, of deep-dive AMAs, and speculative roadmaps.
Post-mainnet, the culture will fork. One path will remain with the original community—now shifting to monitoring, debating tokenomics, and waiting for apps. The other, new cultural branch will be born with the first independent developer teams. Their culture won't be about #dusk the foundation; it'll be about their product, their users, and how Dusk's tech is merely the substrate they build on.
This fork is healthy and necessary, but it can feel like a loss. The tight-knit, shared mission of "getting to mainnet" evaporates, replaced by a more diffuse and professional ecosystem. The foundation's challenge is to nurture this new, independent culture without trying to control it, even as their own direct influence inevitably wanes.
