In November 2021, I bought my first NFT: a Chain Runner. My friend Rob Pando told me about this project, and I bought one shortly after it went live. At that time, I had no idea that this decision would completely change my creative and professional career.
The initial curiosity ultimately evolved into obsession, not just a curiosity about NFTs, but an obsession with the meaning of something being fully on-chain. That Chain Runner is not just a JPEG image; it is a piece of generative art that exists permanently on Ethereum, with no IPFS links, no centralized servers, only the original pixelated identity embedded within the blockchain itself.
