DeFAI Market Dynamics
Data doesn’t lie. Over the past week, we observed that compared to all other narratives, DeFAI has shown remarkable relative strength.
In terms of price performance, DeFAI is the best-performing narrative, having averaged a 37% increase in just the past 7 days.
DeFAI was the strongest market hotspot in January; however, the entire market collapsed in February and March, causing the DeFAI bull market to stagnate.
Today, after two months of a bear market, we finally see the right entry point.
If Bitcoin and Ethereum suddenly surge, pulling out several large bullish candles, can you imagine how the market cap of the DeFAI track (currently less than 1 billion dollars) will change?
DeFAI is innovation and also a 'cult'.
But why is DeFAI becoming the best-performing track among all narratives in the cryptocurrency field (games, NFTs, Memecoins, Layer 1, abstract layers)?
In my opinion, DeFAI will become the strongest crypto narrative for the following reasons:
DeFAI is the next evolution of DeFi, which was the dominant narrative in the bull market cycle of 2020/2021. DeFi (and the DeFAI that extends from it) is the core reason blockchain technology is being applied in everyday life and is also the area with the highest concentration of users, funds, and attention.
The first products of DeFAI have been launched, meaning we are not betting on abstract future concept projects, but rather investing in companies that are actually operating and continuously innovating the DeFi experience. These companies have already earned millions of dollars in fee revenue.
DeFAI is also a narrative driven by the community. From my personal experience, this is undoubtedly true. Whenever I post updates on the X platform, hundreds of DeFAI enthusiasts interact with me, and the posts always receive hundreds of thousands of exposures, indicating that many people are paying attention to DeFAI and its future development.
DeFAI is also one of the areas that developers are currently most focused on. In recent months, I have maintained close communication with several core founders in the DeFAI ecosystem, including Daniele from HeyAnon, R from Fungi Agent, Bebis from Cod3x, James Ross from Mode Network, and others. These builders are fully focused on creating the next wave of DeFAI, and I firmly believe they will achieve this vision.
DeFAI Personal Portfolio
I’m not very keen on disclosing my holdings, but I believe now is the right time: while the public has not yet FOMO into buying DeFAI tokens, while the market frenzy has not completely swallowed rationality.
I won't disclose the specific amount of funds in my wallet, but I will publicly share the proportion of each token in my portfolio.

My largest holdings are ANON, accounting for 35% of my portfolio, MODE at 15%, AIXBT at 13%, BNKR and VIRTUAL each at 8%, and CDX, GRIFFAIN, and PAAL each at 5%. Finally, MAIGA, GATSBY, and BUZZ hold a smaller proportion, each at 2%.
