If I don't hold on, what does it mean to have courage?
I held on to this order till the bottom
When the price just crashed, I thought
"It's okay, it's just a minor correction. It will take a while to go back up.”
When the price broke support, I thought:
“This is a trap, better cut losses quickly.”
When the price dropped another 8%, I still thought
“I have held on to worse losses before. This time, just hold on to this one.”
I didn't cut it. Didn't dare to look. Refused to admit I was wrong.
And then a losing trade got liquidated… turning into a psychological wound that lasted a whole month.
I thought holding on was courage. But holding on without a plan is... discipline without intelligence.
From then on, I learned
Being a trader is not about showing loyalty to a wrong order
