finally took some time to really understand what Fabric Foundation is building with $ROBO, and I won’t lie… it sent me down a serious late-night rabbit hole.

We always talk about AI online—chatbots, images, videos, all that stuff. But we rarely stop to think about the physical side of AI. Real robots. Moving around. Doing jobs. Sharing space with humans.

Right now, robots are kind of isolated. A robot from Boston Dynamics doesn’t naturally “understand” one from Unitree. Different systems, different rules, zero trust between them.

That’s the gap Fabric is trying to fill.

They’re basically creating an open network where robots can prove who they are, exchange data safely, and even transact with each other. Not humans paying robots—but machines paying machines. That part really made me pause.

And that’s when $ROBO started to make sense to me. It’s not just another token floating around the market. It’s meant to be the fuel for a machine-to-machine economy. Picture a delivery robot paying a charging station on its own. Or a humanoid robot temporarily “borrowing” a skill from another robot because it needs to finish a task faster. Sounds wild… but also weirdly logical.

The Token Generation Event just happened back in February 2026, and the airdrop got a lot of attention. Seeing the token start to appear on major exchanges feels less like hype and more like the beginning of something unfolding.

We’re still super early. But if you really think about it, this is how new systems usually start—quietly, before they feel obvious. A future where robots aren’t just tools, but economic participants.

Fabric feels like it’s laying the groundwork for that future, piece by piece.

Just sharing some thoughts. Curious what others think—are we actually ready for robots with wallets? 👀
