when I look at ROBO, I’m not asking whether it fits the trend. That’s the least important question in a market this exhausted. I’m asking whether this thing can survive the grind. Whether it can turn machine output into something a network can rely on without leaning on vague trust or hidden human scaffolding. Whether the system can hold up when the excitement drains out and all that’s left is the work.
That’s the real test, though. Not whether people can imagine the future, but whether this project can survive the boring, unforgiving middle where credibility is built slowly or not at all.
I don’t know yet. That’s probably the most honest thing I can say about it. But at least this one seems to be poking at a real wound instead of painting over it. And in this market, that’s more than I can say for most of what keeps getting launched. Maybe that’s enough to keep watching. Maybe not.
