I always assumed crypto’s mission was simple: Give people more control, more visibility, more direct ownership. But Midnight seems to be moving in the opposite direction.
And that confused me at first.
Right now, most projects are competing on things like:
Faster transactions
Lower fees
Better scalability
It’s all about performance metrics.
But no one is fixing the human experience. Crypto still feels stressful. Double-checking addresses. Signing blindly. Fear of mistakes.
It doesn’t feel natural.
I think this is both exciting… and a bit dangerous.
Exciting — because this is how real adoption happens. People don’t want to understand infrastructure. They just want things to work. But also risky — because when things become invisible, users might lose awareness of what’s actually happening.
And in crypto, that awareness matters.
