One idea I’ve been thinking about lately is how voting could work on blockchain. In theory, blockchain can make voting more transparent and verifiable. But at the same time, full transparency can create serious concerns around privacy. No one wants their personal vote or identity to be publicly visible.

While exploring @MidnightNetwork , this is where their approach started to feel interesting to me. With the vision behind $NIGHT and the use of zero-knowledge technology, it seems possible to verify that a vote is valid without revealing who voted for what.
From what I understand, this could create a system where results are trustworthy, but individual privacy is still protected. That balance is something traditional systems often struggle to achieve.
In my opinion, if blockchain voting is ever going to become widely accepted, privacy will have to be part of the foundation. Projects like @MidnightNetwork show that it might be possible to build systems where transparency and confidentiality can actually work together.
