Iran's Parliamentary National Security Committee passed a bill proposal to charge transit fees for vessels using the Strait of Hormuz. The plan would use Iranian rial for the fee system and would bar U.S. and Israeli vessels from the strait. The proposal also calls for restrictions on countries participating in unilateral sanctions against Iran and for legal coordination with Oman.
