In the DeFi and NFT carnival of 2021–2023, Dusk Network @Dusk Almost completely forgotten by the market. The price has been fluctuating in the $0.05–$0.12 range for a long time, and the community activity is mediocre. It was even classified as “a six-year-old cannon, a cool project” at one point. But it is precisely this “being able to endure loneliness” that makes it one of the most explosive players when the RWA and privacy compliance track explodes in 2025–2026.

Unlike other public privacy chains, Dusk hasn't used “complete anonymity” as its sole selling point since day one. It is more like a “dark pool with KYC window”: ordinary users see fully encrypted balances and transactions, while regulators and issuers can get an audit view that complies with MiCA and SEC standards. This design makes Dusk one of the few public chains that can truly meet both EU MiCA regulations and institutional risk control requirements.

In January 2026, the DuskEVM mainnet was officially launched, becoming a watershed in the project's transition from “technical experiments” to “production-level financial infrastructure”. During the same period, several European asset managers announced that they would issue tokenized money market funds and green bond pilots on Dusk; a Middle Eastern sovereign fund was rumored to have completed a small-scale POC (proof of concept). These news directly pushed the price of DUSK from $0.07 to above $0.30, and the monthly increase once exceeded 400%.

More importantly, Dusk's technical approach appears to be extremely consistent in the macro environment of 2026: global supervision is tightening (MiCA is fully implemented, and the United States may introduce new regulations on stablecoins and securities tokens) → institutions dare not access chains without compliance capabilities → the scarcity of public chains that can provide privacy + auditability has skyrocketed. Dusk is no longer competing with Zcash, Secret, and Oasis “who is more private”, but with Ethereum Layer-2, Solana, and Polkadot “who can get the institutional RWA license first”.

Of course, risks still exist: ecological applications are still in their early stages, and whether the developer activity after the mainnet is launched can keep up and whether the actual TVL can exceed 1 billion are key indicators to be observed. But at least by early 2026, Dusk has gone from “the forgotten old project” to “the privacy RWA chain that understands regulation best”, completing a double counterattack of narrative and valuation.#dusk $DUSK
