My rank in Midnight leaderboard is
#177 what do you think all at the snapshot date where I will be rank ? Now move into the topic
I noticed something while looking deeper into
@MidnightNetwork .
Not every action in a system should be treated the same.
But most blockchains do exactly that.
A simple check…
And a complex operation…
Both go through the same execution flow.
Same system weight.
In real systems, that doesn’t make sense.
Not everything deserves equal resources.
And the more I think about it, the more it feels like this is where inefficiency quietly starts.
When everything is processed the same way…
The system becomes heavy by design.
Midnight takes a different direction.
It separates where computation happens.
Some processes don’t need to burden the entire network.
They can run independently…
…and still produce verifiable outcomes.
“That shift looks small… but it changes system design completely.”
Because scalability isn’t just about handling more…
It’s about knowing what shouldn’t be treated equally in the first place.
