I’ve been exploring blockchain networks and one project really caught my attention Midnight Network.
At first I was fascinated by public blockchains because everything is transparent. Every wallet balance and transaction is visible which builds trust. But I quickly realized there’s a downside this openness can expose sensitive financial and personal information.
Midnight Network is designed to solve that problem. It focuses on privacy within decentralized systems. The network uses advanced cryptography especially zero knowledge proofs which allow transactions to be verified without revealing the underlying details. In simple terms it proves something is true without sharing private information.
Another interesting point is its connection to the Cardano ecosystem. Midnight is developed by Input Output Global (IOG) the research and engineering company behind Cardano. The network uses a dual token system.
