“When Eidiya (Eid Gift)Turns Into Memories”

This Eid feels different, and I can’t ignore the quiet sadness sitting in my heart. For the first time, no one handed me Eidiya عيدية, and at first I thought its because I’m getting older, yeah am old for a simple joy, But then deep down,The truth is heavier and harder to accept—the people who used to put that gift money in my hand with a smile, like my parents and my uncle, are no longer here. It’s not about the money at all; it’s about their presence, their warmth, and the love wrapped in that small gesture. I miss the way they made Eid feel alive, how they turned ordinary moments into memories I now hold onto tightly. And...Although am not lonely and it made me very happy to give Eidiya عيدية to my very small family even on the wider scale of it and creat the same happy moments for my child and other family members...but I felt that something still missing.

It Was Always About Them, Not the Money.
