FOGO Sessions is a novel blockchain mechanism that allows users to interact with the application without paying transaction fees or requiring separate signatures.
FOGO Sessions combines account abstraction with a payment system to handle transaction fees. FOGO Sessions provides robust user protection, enabling users to securely explore the FOGO application. FOGO Sessions also includes a set of widgets for interacting with the wallet, providing a consistent user experience across all FOGO applications.
Please note that FOGO Sessions only allows interaction with SPL tokens, not with the original FOGO. Its goal is to ensure all FOGO user activity uses SPL tokens, while the original FOGO is only used by the payment system and other underlying blockchain mechanisms.

FOGO Sessions allows users to create and sign intent messages using key pairs that prove ownership of the private key. Therefore, users can create and sign intent messages using any Solana wallet, regardless of whether the wallet directly supports FOGO.
Payment Recipient
A Fogo session includes a centralized payment responder, enabling users to transact online without incurring gas fees. Please note that the specific economics and limitations applicable to the payment responder are still under development and are subject to change.
User Protection
The intent message includes several user protection mechanisms:
The domain name field must match the originating domain name of the application being executed. This helps prevent cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks, which involve phishing to trick users into signing up for sessions of other applications.
Fogo sessions can be restricted or unlimited. Restricted sessions include a list of tokens and the maximum number of tokens the application can interact with. This mechanism allows users to explore new applications they may not yet trust without creating and depositing a separate wallet.
Fogo sessions expire and must be renewed upon expiration.
