@OpenGradient I’m So Tired of Fake AI Crypto Garbage
Most of these "decentralized AI" projects are just scams with a nice website. They promise the world. Then you try to use them and nothing works. It's slow. It's expensive. Or they just don't let you verify anything. You're supposed to trust them because they have a cool logo. I don't trust any of them anymore.
So yeah, I rolled my eyes at OpenGradient too.
But here's the thing. They're building infrastructure. Not a token game. Hosting models, running inferences, and actually letting you prove what happened. Verification isn't sexy. It's boring. It's also the only thing that matters. Because right now, when an AI gives you an answer, you have zero clue if someone swapped the model or rigged the output. That's insane. We're building on quicksand.
OpenGradient wants to fix that. Maybe. I'm not selling it to you. Go check yourself. But for once, someone is asking the right question: how do we make AI not lie? That's it. That's the whole thing. No buzzwords. Just a network that doesn't treat you like an idiot.
I just want stuff that works. This might actually be it. Or I'll be back here in six months complaining again. Probably that.
