Two brothers from Texas have pleaded guilty in federal court in Minneapolis to a robbery charge tied to an armed home invasion involving more than $8 million in crypto assets. According to Odaily, prosecutors said the brothers held a family under control for about eight hours and forced the homeowner to log into a cryptocurrency account to carry out transfers.

The defendants were identified as Isiah Angelo Garcia, 25, and Raymond Christian Garcia, 24. They pleaded guilty to interference with commerce by robbery.

Each faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and is required to pay restitution of more than $8 million.
