Let me be real with you.

Most beginner losses don’t come from bad entries —

they come from not knowing what they are trading.

Before you place any order, these are the things a smart trader checks first.

Welcome to Day 15 of the 90-Day Crypto Learning Challenge 🚀

This lesson can protect you from avoidable mistakes.

1. Market Cap — The True Size of the Coin

Market cap tells you how big and stable a coin is.

Large market cap → steadier moves

Small market cap → sharp pumps & dumps

📌 Cheap price ≠ cheap asset.

2. Fully Diluted Value (FDV) — Future Pressure

FDV shows the market cap if all tokens are released.

Why it matters:

Big FDV gap = many tokens still locked

Future unlocks can push price down

📌 This affects long-term holding and swing trades.

3. Token Distribution (Fully Distributed or Not)

Ask:

Are most tokens already in circulation?

Mostly unlocked → fewer surprises

Mostly locked → future selling pressure

📌 This explains sudden drops many beginners don’t expect.

4. 24-Hour Trading Volume — Liquidity Check

Volume shows how active the market is.

High volume → easy entry & exit

Low volume → price moves violently

📌 Low volume coins are dangerous for beginners.

5. Max Supply — Scarcity vs Inflation

Max supply shows the maximum number of coins that can exist.

Limited supply → scarcity

Unlimited supply → inflation risk

📌 This affects long-term value potential.

6. Circulating Supply — What’s Tradable Now

This shows how many coins are currently available.

Low circulation → sudden spikes possible

High circulation → smoother price action

📌 Always compare this with max supply.

7. Day High & Day Low — Today’s Battlefield

Shows today’s price range.

Near day high → higher risk

Near day low → better context for entries

📌 This helps avoid emotional buying.

8. Order Book — Buyers vs Sellers

The order book shows:

Buy walls (support)

Sell walls (resistance)

📌 Thin order book = easy price manipulation.

9. Funding Rate (If You’re Viewing Futures)

Funding rate shows trader bias.

Very positive → too many longs

Very negative → too many shorts

📌 Extreme funding often leads to reversals.

(Beginners should mostly observe, not trade futures.)

10. News & Upcoming Events

Check:

Token unlock dates

Major updates

Listings or delistings

📌 News can override technical analysis.

The Big Takeaway

Price alone lies.

Data tells the truth.

Preparation protects capital.

Trading is not about speed — it’s about awareness.

Let’s Keep Growing Together

If you check these before every trade,

you’re already ahead of most beginners.
