Optimism Governance has announced plans to transfer 6,400 ETH between wallets later today. According to ChainCatcher, this move aims to facilitate the liquid staking of Optimism Collective's treasury assets.
As outlined in the previously released Liquid Staking RFP, Optimism intends to allocate 40% of its treasury assets, approximately 6,400 ETH, to the liquid staking protocol on the OP Mainnet. The remaining 60% of the assets will be used for native staking on the Ethereum mainnet.
