$3.7 Billion Sea-Crossing Bridge to Revolutionize Ho Chi Minh City-Vung Tau Travel

Ho Chi Minh City authorities are set to approve a massive 93 trillion VND (approx. $3.7 billion) project to build a sea-crossing bridge connecting Can Gio and Vung Tau. Proposed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, the project requires investors to provide 100% of the capital, bypassing state budget dependency.

The ambitious 14 km route includes an 8 km bridge and a 3.8 km tunnel designed for six lanes of traffic. Once completed, the transit time between the two regions is expected to plummet from nearly two hours to just 10 minutes. This infrastructure upgrade aims to relieve severe congestion on National Highway 51 and the HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway, serving as a critical catalyst for regional economic development and logistics efficiency in Southern Vietnam. #BTCUSDT
