@NewtonProtocol I started looking at Newton after watching where the decisions actually happen.
Recently I spent some time following Newton and one thing kept standing out.
Most crypto networks focus on recording actions. Newton seems more focused on the rules that shape those actions before they happen.
That got me thinking about Newton.
In systems governance is not really visible until a problem appears but with Newton policy and decision logic for Newton feel closer to the core of the design of Newton.
That creates opportunities for Newton. It also creates questions about Newton.
What happens when the rules of Newton need to change
Can Newton remain decentralized if more responsibility moves toward policy management for Newton
I do not see answers yet about Newton.
What feels solid is that Newton appears to be addressing an issue instead of inventing one for Newton.
As more assets and applications and automated systems come on chain simple transaction execution may not be enough for Newton.
Still I keep wondering whether the hardest challenge for Newton is technical all.
Whether keeping different participants aligned over time becomes the real test for Newton.
