I almost scrolled past Newton Protocol.
Not because it looked bad, but because I've trained myself to be skeptical whenever a new narrative starts getting everyone's attention.
I've seen this movie before.
A project launches, engagement explodes, everyone posts screenshots of growth, and for a while it feels like nothing can go wrong.
Then the incentives change.
The same people who looked like loyal users become sellers, farmers, or simply disappear.
That cycle has made me think less about hype and more about behavior.
So when I started reading about Newton Protocol, I wasn't asking whether AI would bring attention.
I was asking a different question.
What gives people a reason to stay after the excitement wears off?
I don't have that answer yet.
That's exactly why I'm still watching.
