In a recent case near Chicago, authorities recovered two stolen trailers carrying about $1.3 million worth of equipment.
One trailer had around $300,000 worth of copper wire stolen from Alabama, while the other was loaded with about $1 million worth of data center equipment stolen from Florida.
Police tracked down the copper wire trailer using its GPS and found the second trailer during the same investigation.
