Every time a new project says its main network is live people usually ask:

What's different this time?

That was my question when I saw Newton Mainnet Beta is now live.

After reading more I realized whats interesting isn't the launch. It's the idea behind Newton. Most blockchain apps are good at processing transactions.. They don't always check if a transaction should happen.

Newton is trying to add that missing layer. As AI becomes more involved in crypto this feels important. An AI agent can move funds. Interact with DeFi protocols much faster than a person.. Speed isn't enough. If the instructions are wrong a transaction can still create risk.

* For example imagine a company or a group using AI to manage funds.

* Of relying only on manual approvals they could define clear rules before assets move.

That makes automation more predictable. Gives users more confidence.

For me that's why Newton Mainnet Beta matters. It's not about launching another network. It's about exploring a way to make, on-chain activity happen as automation grows.

I'm curious to see how developers use this technology.

Will other projects do the same?

Following @NewtonProtocol will be interesting. $NEWT could play a role if this approach becomes widely used. #Newt

What do you think Will policy-based authorization become a part of Web3 Will traditional wallet approvals remain the standard?
