I was bullish on $SOL for a long time too.
But the deeper I looked into the tokenomics, the more questions I had.
Most people focus on speed, fees, and ecosystem growth. Very few take the time to study the supply side.
Here's the part many overlook: Solana doesn't have a hard max supply like Bitcoin. New SOL continues to be issued through a declining inflation schedule, eventually reaching a long-term inflation rate rather than a fixed cap.
That doesn't automatically make SOL a bad investment. Ethereum also has no hard cap. But it does mean investors should understand what they're holding instead of assuming scarcity alone will drive price forever.
Before committing to a 5-year hold, take a few minutes to study the tokenomics, supply emissions, and inflation model.
You might come back with a different perspective.
