Major County Sheriffs of America (MCSA) has shifted to a neutral position on the Clarity Act following ongoing discussions about Section 604, which includes parts of the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act.

According to Odaily, a Fox Business crypto reporter said in a post on X that the change followed recent, continued deliberations by MCSA on the Section 604 provisions.

In a letter to leaders of the Senate Banking Committee, MCSA said that based on its continued review of the legislation, there remains an opportunity to further strengthen the bill in a way that supports responsible innovation and addresses practical needs of state and local law enforcement.
