The Bank of Russia will implement a cryptocurrency regulation law starting Sept. 1, 2026. A transition period will run until July 1, 2027. Market participants must prepare documents, register with regulators, obtain new licenses, and update internal procedures. Criminal and administrative penalties will take effect on July 1, 2027.
