I was wondering about one thing.... Is #Binance actually just a trading platform, or is it slowly moving towards creating a "learning layer" as well? Because their recent post is not just a market update or a promo, but an attempt to show a whole side - which many traders usually avoid.
To be honest : we often see the market only as charts and candles. But in reality, it's not that simple. What Binance is saying here is that - whether it's crypto or traditional finance, there is some economic framework working behind everything. That means that the price suddenly rose or fell, it wasn't "suddenly", there was a system working somewhere. First comes Supply & Demand. It sounds very basic, but in reality this one thing is at the bottom of almost all market movements. If the supply of a coin is low, the demand is high - the price will rise, if the opposite happens, the price will fall. But the problem is, this balance is not always clean, here speculation, liquidity - everything is mixed. Then they talk about the Phillips Curve. This is a bit of macro-level thinking. When inflation increases, unemployment usually decreases, and when inflation decreases, unemployment can increase.... This trade-off is directly related to the interest rate decision of the central bank. And we see in reality, when the Fed increases or decreases rates, volatility immediately comes to the crypto market. Many people see this connection as just a "news impact", but in fact it is structural. Then comes the Solow Growth Model and Simulation Models. This is a bit of long-term thinking. How an economy or system grows over time, and how a policy change is modeled and tested first - this idea is actually very important. The same thing can be applied to the crypto ecosystem, but we often get stuck in short-term price action. @Binance Academy is trying to show the side - meaning not just trading, but also trying to understand a little foundation level economics.
All in all, what I think is that this is not a hype post. Rather, it is a subtle push - telling users that the market is not just buy/sell, there is a whole economic logic behind it. And what is interesting is that - those who can grasp this logic, will not only become traders, but also become at least a little "market reader" - that is absolutely 100% true🚀🚀🚀
