🔖 Mr. Sualeh Asif, Co-founder of Cursor, is in the spotlight following reports of a $60 billion bid interest with Elon Musk's SpaceX.
📝 Mr. Sualeh was trained for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus from 2016 to 2018, before pursuing his undergraduate studies at MIT.
He participated in IMO 2016 in Hong Kong, IMO 2017 in Brazil and IMO 2018 in Romania. He won Bronze Medal in IMO 2017 (Brazil).
As a designated training center for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) team of Pakistan, our role is to provide training, mentorship, and academic exposure to selected students at a particular stage of their development. Many institutions, teachers, and platforms contribute along the way, and success stories like Sualeh Asif’s are always the result of collective efforts combined with individual excellence.
Highlighting such journeys is part of our broader mission to promote STEM education in Pakistan, inspire young students, and inform the public about national level programs that nurture talent. It is important to understand that mentioning training does not equate to claiming ownership of success, but rather reflects the ecosystem that supports students at different stages.
We deeply respect all institutions, mentors, and contributors who play a role in shaping these individuals, and we remain committed to continuing this national effort in a collaborative spirit.
