UN reports surge in settler violence in occupied West Bank 🚨

The UN has warned of escalating settler violence across the occupied Palestinian territory after a child was killed in an incident linked to settlers in the Ramallah area.

According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), settlers allegedly stole about 700 livestock during the incident on Wednesday, while also forcing at least two Palestinian families to flee their homes.

The agency said it has documented more than 800 settler attacks this year affecting 220 Palestinian communities.

OCHA also said about 70 Palestinians, including 10 children, were wounded by Israeli forces or settlers between May 5 and 11, mainly during Israeli military raids and settler attacks.
