To understand why the Golden Battery exists, we have to look at the Governor of Terravilla. For years, the Governor handed out "Common Wood" (Berry) to anyone who farmed.
The Problem: Everyone farmed too much wood. Soon, every house was made of wood, every fire was made of wood, and the value of wood plummeted to zero. The economy was suffocating under its own weight.
The Solution: The Governor declared a New Era. He stopped handing out wood and introduced the Golden Battery. He told the citizens:
"You can still farm for wood to survive, but if you want to rule, if you want to build an empire, or if you want to influence the future of Terravilla, you must earn or buy the Battery."
This created a Bifurcated Economy:
The Free-to-Play Layer: Use "Coins" for basic gameplay and slow progression.
The $PIXEL Layer: Use the "Golden Battery" for governance, speed, and status.
